PrEP POLICY MODELING

Authored a cost-effectiveness analysis using a compartmental Markov model comparing a daily PrEP regimen (status quo) versus an option for on-demand (or event-driven) PrEP regimen for MSM in the United States. The motivation for the paper was to see whether adding an on-demand option might be more cost-effective for less active and/or adherent MSM, and was inspired by Juusola et al. 2012, and development of the on-demand regimen in the IPERGAY study.
